Every their next game is more dumb down than the last to the point of fallout 4 which can't be even considered a full blown rpg, more like an fps with rpg elements
But I can't deny that morrowind is one of the best games ever created. It's probably the best traditional video game rpg has ever gotten into implementing a tabletop rpg system
Daggerfall also had a profound system but the game aged poorly in my opinion whereas morrowind is still very playable today if you can get used to tge wacky combat
