where did the sterotype of irish people being ginger come from? i've lived in ireland my whole life and only known about 4 or 5 gingers, most people have black or brown hair. I kinda get the drunk shit since i would imagine a load of us who went to yankistan during the fammine and shit would be drinking like hell out of depression, but the ginger stuff just seems totally random.
