Anyone here a pixel art creator? What kind of software do you use? Can you give us a tour through how to do stuff like this?

Was at one point, a long time a go. I used MSpaint, Vista to be specific. Any older is too primitive to be of much use except for minute edits and anything newer has those horrid ribbons and less precise controls. Vista Paint is probably the best version of the program you'll get.

I want to, but can't due to 4chan's resolution limit. Here's a more up to date version of the sheet: sorry about the mess, paint lacks layring so I tended to copy sprites in order to tinker with them and leave half-completed projects!

I use photoshop, I don't do gifs though. If your new to pixel art then SAI is the best beginner program but photoshop can do more.
