It is quiet and slow, we here in minnesota have one summer festival where the whole town gets together and has a good time with the kids. There are undertones of a drug epidemic but that is in its twilight years. There was a general feeling of improvement over the last few years. If you are looking for demographic trends, it is almost all white still, with a small contingent of asians. They are based and traditional which in my town is appreciated.
Very few cars that are brand new, like 1 out of 50. Music is all trash.
No public library but I dont care that much.
Our economy is reliant on both iron mining and agriculture.
This past weekend was deer season opener, and everyone, including me, got out to the woods to harvest venison for the year to come.
Small town life is great when the economy is doing well, but extremely sad when it is doing horridly.
