At the moment the Democrat party is a walking corpse, a zombie party that has pissed off to many people whether they be progressives, independents, businesses Dems, moderate conservatives, environmentalists, the anti war crowd, and unironic socialists. Not to mention EVERYTHING they try to pass through congress will get shot down unless they play ball with Mich and act reasonable which hasn't been seen from them in a while.
LP's have a golden chance to finally make some ground especially with disheartened former Republicans who have finally come to the realization that The Reps no longer care about fiscal conservatism and our retarded amount of debt.
I'm not saying LP's will control every branch of the government 100% in the near future I'm not delusional but they'll grow in power and will be able to launch a few bills or shoot them down in the future and that would be good for the health of this republic like a body lacking crucial vitamins or minerals such as Zinc finally getting it's red meats or shell fish. It's inevitable, LP's are legally required to be represented on ballots and more people will become educated them in the future.
