Harmony between nature and man does not exist at all. Man fights against nature; he must not passively rest under it, dedicate himself to contemplate it or immerse himself romantically in its bosom. On the contrary, he must overcome it and dominate it, through work, technique and scientific knowledge, and that is how he becomes himself.
