Yeah it is
What you have to do is just keep practicing then you would understand what fiaiéi means or megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért. It is more like just root words and there are suffixes and prefixes added to it. In the long word the root word is szent (saint) the rest are just suffixes

Thank you:). The grammar I can get over, but the words are sort of slippery (?) It takes a lot longer to memorise them for me than with German.

It takes longer because the words has no connection to german. However I come from a dialect which uses more german words
echte, richtig, saller, zollstock, slag, strudl, sitt, glett, snitt, slukk, sacc, smucig and there are more but cant remember.

it looks like a word with multiple words in it
translator ays it means "most wonderful" which means one part of this word means "very" or "a lot" and another part means "very good" or "very impressive"

I have studied a non indo european language before. Those words were a lot easier than Hungarian. I meant to say that Hungarian words specifically confuse me a bit. The way they are built i guess. They look and sound very pretty.

I dont know why we have a lot finnish (about 20%), slavic and turkish words but still like about 50% of the words are from unknow origin. Maybe it is the many sound we use? We have about 36 unique sounds

That could be it. Gy absolutely kills me haha. I think they way they are structured. And the fact that the stress in the word is almost always in the same place maybe.
