Anyone who is wondering as to why bullshit like this happens, the reason is twofold. Firstly most nurses in hospitals are just glorified office workers. They spend very little time getting their hands dirty. Most of the work is devolved to those under them (low skilled staff). The "pandemic" just another level of groupthink which allows them to pat themselves on the back confirming in their mind they are actually doing something. As you see from the empty beds and the time they have available to plan and practice these silly dances they aren't actually very busy or in reality doing much of anything on tax payers money.
Secondly the profession is dominated by women and all the obvious problems that entails. Any opportunity to improve their perceived social credit and flex on others while making themselves feel good in the process will be taken.
We have had a very quiet summer in the UK. Beds are no fuller than they were last year. Actually ill people who have diseases like cancer are dying in record numbers because services are being closed for the pandemic meme. The fact more nurses hasn't spoke out about this is abhorrent (you will lose your job if you do but there is a lack of integrity in the industry; something in essence we are suppose to champion).
