>>11759800My city’s relatively prosperous and there aren’t that many abandoned sites in Romania as in the former Soviet Union anyway, but it’s definitely aesthetic. Most people hate the sight of commieblocks but I like them—the grayer and grimier the cooler. Still, nothing beats traditional Austro-Hungarian architecture. I think the site I visited is exceptional in its extent anyway. I sure do hope they don’t build a mall there in the future.
