well idk i'll figure it out. the only things i'm really apposed to are teaching, driving, and the service industry. i'm still doing the cs minor and have the background in math from before so software dev or data analysis or something would be good.
the important part is that the US job market is horribly oversaturated especially when it comes to entry level positions so it's difficult to get jobs that aren't dogshit since if they're focused on keeping costs down they'll hire the lowest bidder then overwork them until they quit or if they're focused on quality they can just hire someone way overqualified since everybody is looking for jobs
jap is supposed to be in the opposite position since everyone is old as shit so they're trying to import young people for entry level labor, but demand is high enough that fluent japanese isn't necessarily a requirement as long as ur young and willing to work. as such both eng and jap become more valuable skills than they already were.
it's not like i'm anticipating getting flooded with tons of amazing job offers but i should have much more and better opportunities open to me in jap than the us
