People spend money, time and effort going to gyms, sunbathing and shaving to look good. Then they go out with someone to spend even more money on food, drinks, movies and shit like that only for some minutes of genital friction. And on top of that theres the risk of diseases and the fear of pregnancy (which is a very weird fear, since the purpose of sex is, ultimately, reproduction).

Sex should be seen merely as a biological function, we will only evolve as a species when we stop fetishizing sex. As long as we are dominated by our mindless base instincts we are no different from animals.
