Once I hit 40 a few years back it really sank in that I’ve experienced pretty much everything there is for a human to do. I’ve done everything imaginable to pleasure my senses (every street drug, pharmaceuticals, botanicals, sex with men/women/trans, group sex, mountain climbing, flying, scuba, caving, etc...) I’ve literally done every type of work (journalist, teacher, construction, delivery, restaurant, manufacturing, warehouse, thief, drug dealer, gigalo, etc...). I’ve traveled extensively, gone to concerts, hung out with celebrities and even had a long term relationship that lasted over a decade. There are a few things left, but nothing that I think I’m missing out on. The idea is very depressing, because from now until I die it is all just gonna be recycled. Nothing gives me pleasure anymore, and I can’t stand the idea I might have to live another 40 years. Maybe I’ll get lucky and die soon. Sigh....
