anon, I lived in a flat in rive gauche Genève when I was in high school because of my father's work (not UN).
I went to an international school, and bubbled myself pretty hard because I generally thought swiss people were nasty, greedy fucks. They had a fuckton of laws like
>>11837636 mentioned. Ultimately though, in hindsight, laws like that make it a beautiful country.
They are also big government though. So even though they all smoke like chimneys, they have armies of portagees cleaning the streets and tramlines everymorning to hide their nigger-like littering habits, The streetsweepers (with brooms) were put on this career track by the government because they failed classes when they were 14, and were sidelined to be C class citizens (B is apprenticeships, A is university).
I didn't fault them for their xenophobia though. I witnessed first hand after schengen passed, the massive spike in crime as north africans invaded paquis district from france. An extermely redpilling fact for as an impressionable student at the premier academy of globalization in the world.
In high school I strongly believed in American superiority because I lived my whole life as an expat, and I constantly trolled the europoors and UN children at my school.
Living in commiefornia now though, I would take geneva anyday. My Dad was taxed to oblivion, and we had no voting rights, and had no guns, but I don't have either in california anymore regardless.
Enjoy it, and if you can, try and live in the country and commute. It would be like paradise. I love the ocean, but the outdoor activities you can partake in switzerland are truly amazing.
