How did people even live in times before electronic telecommunication? Seems like it would be extremely nerve-wrecking if there's something bad happening to your niggas and you have to wait several days for each update on the situation.

People had more free time back then. So it wasnt a big deal to roam around to get the scoop. Also the distance most people live from work these days would be considered outrageous by their standards. So we have even less free time in that regard. So running around gossiping and what not seems ridiculous now but back then they didnt have shit going on. They didnt have to work 50 hours a week to pay rent. They took holidays off, they lived 15 minutes from work, they had it easier
