>>11870237certainly looks like that'll be the dynamic. it's just a matter of how much arson i commit and how many cats i can save from trees
yeah, but that doesn't really mean anything after all, y'know? it can be a nice reminder to reflect on a broad scope, but i always feel that the mindset around it is awful as if this is the only time of year where people reflect on anything at all. arguably worse are people who think that a calendar milestone actually means anything
>2020 was such an awful year thank god we can move on from it>man 2015 was great i'm sad to see it goas if good or bad events are generally clustered together and crossing an imaginary line sets it all back to 0.
i think new year's resolutions are the ultimate example of both these perspectives. somehow people only stop to think they're fatter than they'd like between december 26th and january 1st and decide this is the perfect "opportunity" to start working out as if they can't think about how to improve themselves any time.
that being said all holidays are super arbitrary so it's not like this one has any less "meaning" or anything, i just really don't care for the mindset around it
>>11870292well usually i only follow the people who take the pictures themselves anyway, no way i could've known
we'll call it going the extra mile then..
>>11870310well right now i'm drilling vocab, but on the list for today is describing body parts and に行く then doing a lot of examples
