My school's gym in the U.K. had those as well, but each shower stall was separate and had lockable doors, none of that plastic cover shit.

In fact, they had built in benches, it made bathing and shaving much easier. They also had never-ending warm water which made me prefer to shower there instead of at home.

My school had showers, but nobody used them. The problem was that P.E. lessons were an hour long, they finished exactly on the hour, and you couldn't exactly be 15 minutes late for your next lesson because you were showering and getting changed.

My PE classes were 1 hour as well, but they were divided into:-

>30 minutes sport activity
>15 minutes to shower and change back to our school uniform

We usually had 20 students and we had 15 stalls, so none of us were in the rush and we mostly played indoors unless if the weather was nice.
