Dad is a kraut who came to America in 80s for work.(Sadly, He didn't teach me German)

Pretty sure this makes me entitled to German citizenship and Passport if I apply for it. If it turns out I'm an EU citizen I can basically work anywhere in the EU right? Any where worth moving to? Was considering Ireland.

So called "russian germans" that came in the 90s could get a german passport easy. So most of them werent even real germans just russians or jews laarping as germans.

However you wont get a german passport. This is long over. If you want a german passport you have to live year for minimum of 8 years. But honestly i dont know why someone from the US or Australia would like to move here.

ACHTUNG! If you can get it and go for it, they will make you give up your american passport! Only exceptions are large business/family interest and even then it depends on the burocrat that has your file.
The IRS and their enforcement policies starting about 10 years ago has fucked over a lot of americans in europe. A lot of countries and companies just will not deal with americans due to the extreme reporting demands. Nothing personal, its the IRS. This includes giving out visas and passports.

Anon, it really depends on what your goal in the EU is and what your worldview is, some countries offer more opportunity in some job branches than others, some countries are geopolitically more safe when WW3 starts, some countries have a lot of niggers. Some countries have a superhard language to learn, some countries are poor, some are rich, every eu country has a different Socialwellfare/health insurance system and all of them are on a different level of quality.
