I had a VR headset in the past.
It was fun but for a bit,
but long-term gaming won't be worth it until VR headsets are as light as AR like Hololens.

All I really wanna do is play other stuff.
Don't really care about Cyberpunk 2077.
Just want gorgeous 1080 or 2k with mods ya know what I mean?

What are you planning to play then? The 3070 can probably run 4k in certain games that have mod support for it like Fallout 4.

Ay. A fellow mod junkie. I get exactly what you're wanting to do. I've got 124 mods running on F4 and I've built a couple over the years. I came from a 750ti with 100's of mods though so take it as you will.
You'll be able to do everything and I was nervous when I spent the money too. Especially since it was the first time I gave AMD parts a try.
You'll have no problems with 4k in most games. You can even run RDR2 on ultra. It's all so beautiful.
Don't be so nervous you're going to love it more than you know.

why not troubleshoot it yourself, you can learn alot by doing it by yourself. if it gets too daunting then sure ask someone else for help.
and you dont need a warranty on the whole pc, alot of computer stores give you a warranty already if you buy the parts themselves ( some even allow you extend or have a longer warranty already )
next time tell your friend to help you build the pc.

Hardware is more foreign to me.

I didn't say I paid for the warranty. It came free from newegg.
And they made good on the warranty in the past.

The only part of it that probably won't be necessary is the PSU.
I was told it doesn't need a 750w, but that's okay.
