Well, I started at the age of 15 when a friend offered me one. I decided to try, liked it and have been smoking since then. I don't smoke too much though, and am not addicted to them, so I have no problem stopping, it's just that I don't want to. This is gonna sound dumb, but I mostly smoke to have something to do while waiting, like if I have to meet a friend and he's late, I just pull out a cig so I'm not sitting around awkwardly. I also sometimes smoke on my way back from work or in the middle of the night cause it's super relaxing.

I had openly lied to a girl I had a thing for. I started to smoke to have some sort of opening ground for. I ended up enjoying it so I kept doing it.
