And honestly counterstrike is definitely not one if the most demanding shooters its is very similiar to cod and cod requires different skills than counterstrike does.
If there is a single thing in a game that can only be influenced by the player on how he reacts and acts there is skill involved.
For example imagine a race game where you every car drives the same speed and you cant brake go faster or slower or change gears and you are only driving in a straight lane.
Now imagine the same game but this time you have to change gears correctly to better exalerate suddenly there is skill involved.
Again same game but this time instead of gears there is a track with corners and you would have to steer to be faster than than your opponent suddenly there is skill involved.
And learning a single skill can be just as demanding as learning multiple.
So yeah boomer games are still about skill you are just nostalgic.
