>>11943923From what I can see, it's two things. 1. Spamming is a long popular pastime on this board due to the lack of regulation and little consequence. See the shark, wojak quoter, trans rights, fox spammer, fake romanian for just a few examples.
2. The recent events in America have led major social networking sites to crack down on unwanted behaviour, which in turn made these people flock to 4chan and caused /pol/ to beef up their regulations. The /pol/ residents who could no longer post there came here and I suspect a spammer or two decided BBC is the best way to frighten them off.
