I remember that recently I went to see a movie, in Oregon, and that when I came out the sky was literally blotted out by smoke. I thought it was night. When I realized that it was another wildfire around the brush, I knew we must be living in the end times. A single wildfire doesn't seem like much justification for it, but the streets and the theatre all seemed so empty and small, and the billowing clouds so great.
