Mage/Wizard: Same thing, Mage just sounds more serious than Wizard, and Magician was not used to make a distinction from the IRL sleight-of-hand profession. But basically a Mage studies magic and learns it the hard way through trial and effort, think fantasy scientist.
Sorcerer: Doesn't study magic, is born with magic in their blood, typically there is an elemental, dragon, demon, or angel type being of some sort in their family history, and so magic just comes to them. Usually more about show, brute force and charismatic appeal then they are about study and knowing things.
