Booger eater here because my nose likes to get clogged with dry fucking snot
Almost never get sick aside from the occasional seasonal cold that fucks off in 2-3 days and even that's been rare these past few years

Idk OP but blowing my nose does not work for me. My boogs are like rubber cement. The only way to clean them out is by picking my nose. Tissues work for snot just fine but not the boogies.

I love the taste of bogeys.

I'm 27 and have eaten them ever since I was a baby. There's nothing more satisfying after a hard day at work getting your finger right up there, feeling the dry spiky texture, then as it breaks away the wonderful goo getting everywhere all over your finger. Then popping out into your mouth is glorious. I usually scrape them on my bottom teeth where the crust head catches and keeps the dangling mucus in place. Like a mad yellow gibbon waving around. I take my tongue and brush it off my teeth and luck it up.
It tastes ever so slightly salty, depends on how long it's been since I had an opportunity to be alone. It's so comforting and therapeutic. Then I swallow without really thinking too much about it. On the rare occasion I've actually gotten a bogey stuck in my throat, but usually they're kind enough to just wear away quickly.

Bunch of fucking hypocrites, eating your boogers is a time-efficient disposal method just like swallowing mucus all day long.
The only argument I could see against eating your boogers is if you blew them into a tissue (unless you decided to eat the tissue as well).

I seriously don’t get why this is such a big deal and it’s starting to piss me off.

I've been waiting for this thread for years. I'm a full grown man and I eat mine. Wouldn't eat a girl's. I enjoy the taste and process of eating them. Probably going to hell for this but at least there the boogers will taste like sulfur.
