Don't ever hope for someone to bring everlasting peace and prosperity. This life is eternal struggle, it is never wonderful neither is it unbearable.

The war between the sons of God and the sons of this world started a long time ago:
"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."
-Genesis 3:15

This war has been raging for thousands of years and will continue. Man lost paradise and now constantly tries to bring it back. We think that technology will save us, but it won't. We think that a very competent politician will take power and lead us to glory, but he won't. We think that we can build our own paradise inside of us through meditation or yoga, but we can't. We think that knowledge will make us transcend and somehow make us superior, but instead of answers to our questions we only find more questions. It is like chasing the wind.

It's never as good or as bad as people make it to be. Life is not a pit of snakes, but it isn't a hot tub either.
Don't go around thinking this or that man will make life glorious or a living hell. Glory and hell is yet to come.
