>>11996096What I am trying to highlight is that people seem to commonly throw "cult" around as an insult, and when you analyze the way they're using it, they are basically saying the person isn't seeing reality correctly, seeing it falsely. Almost every politicized person, no matter their politics, uses this tactic as an insult. "brainwashed, sheep, cattle, cultist, etc."
I always snicker to myself because I consider myself non-partisan, meta-political; I laugh because I see people charging others with being in a cult, and I see them as being in a cult themselves; and MYSELF AS NOT BEING IN ONE.
So I began to understand that what everyone's really saying is, "you don't see reality correctly," and then I began to wonder if that's even humanly possible given the actual nature of reality, devoid of subjective human interpretation; "pure" reality.
