>>11997945My grandparents actually do this, but the pickle ornament usually isn't hanged on the tree, but hidden inside it. I've been told it's a German tradition, but I don't know anything about it really. I don't know of anybody else who does it. Good memories of it as a kid, though. I always looked forward to hunting for the pickle at Christmas to try and find it before my siblings.
