>>11998339>>11998341My brother, you only need to go a little further. Read the lives of the saints and apostles for strength. Hear the words of Paul, right before he was to be beheaded for his works of preaching the Gospel:
"Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing."
The words of Christ: "whoever does not carry his cross and follow Me cannot be My disciple."
Anon, I feel for you, and I feel your pain. Suffering is the crucible where our faith is tested. If you do not have on the armour of God, of course it will all seem overbearing to you. But put it into perspective - imagine being a Christian in the second century, where evil emperors would flay you and burn you to death, sentencing you to get eaten by lions in the arena for refusing to bend the knee to idols, and not denying Jesus Christ. Please, hear me out, because I love you:
Willingly accepting suffering is the way to true happiness - read about St. Francis of Assisi, and the Holy Spirit will show you.
>>11998340You think you are smart, but really you are a deluded slave to the actual, living Jews, who you are willingly giving your life force to in exchange for shekels. You sure showed me!
