Some of them may even be in the business because of it - a worst case scenario they will have some inventory and retreat.
But see what happened to a pair of brother investors in the 80s. They got cremed as manipulators, and it really didn't take much of any effort - they just thought it was a good investment. Turns out they could afford to buy so much that it would crushed the now non-backed USD.
But that's to say 2 things. 1. it's possible. 2. it hasn't actually happened.
So the dealers are probably aware, but there's just no interest, and given it has been so long, they probably just don't care anymore. They see highs, and lows. Their business is the margin. Just another job. Lots of sales to paniced buyers. Lots of buying from oblivious kids/widows.
I'll add one more thing. If Silver goes 250x, the amount of silver you have will be irrelevant beyond a certain volume. After that, you either better have brass, or a whole lotta nothing between you and anyone who might want to find you.
