How come God says that whoever keeps his law is surely righteous?
Ezekiel 18:9 He follows My statutes and faithfully keeps My ordinances. That man is righteous; surely he will live, declares the Lord GOD.
Are you gonna call God HIMSELF a liar? There is no other special meaning in this verse. It is very very clear what it is. The new covenant is no excuse because God says he will write the laws in his people's heart and teach his people his law. It NEVER says it is done with. Jesus did NOT teach in vain.
