Just assume, for hypothetical thought here, there was some kind of non-human manipulation of humans. And the humans are not allowed to know this, because that would mess with the manipulation somehow. They have to think of themselves as naturally fitting in. Well, certain things would break that illusion. They would break the Veil. So those things are hidden to us, where we can either have perceive them or perceive them and then get memory problems.
People on meth all end up complaining about reptilians, which is easy to chalk up to insanity but kind of curious how they all complain about the same kind of insane creature and nothing different, like no one sees lady-bug men or alpaca men or fish men... just reptilians. So maybe meth destroys the mind so much it literally destroys the part creating the Veil and things you're not supposed to see start being seen, causing all sorts of freak outs.
The Veil is something genetically installed in us to prevent us seeing things that break the Illusion that whatever these things are use to control us?
This is all speculation, I'm not trying to be schizo here.
Bigfoot and other hominid species break the Veil too much. If we could see, touch and interact with Bigfoot and he was a real hominid he would realize pretty quick where the differences in our genetics are and realize maybe we had some genes that are impossible to evolve?
This is actually very /pol/ because all government cover-ups point in this same direction -- the government helps keep the Veil intact.
