Well technically i could drink it but judging by the amout of precipitate that gathers inside my kettle its a bad idea. If not for it i would just boil some water and be done with it but i had too little citric acid so the kettle is not clean enough

just run it through a particle and activated carbon filter. dissolved minerals like magnesium and calcium are good for you.

you can also use vinegar instead of citric acid.

oops, i mean particle filter and activated carbon filter. most cheap activated carbon filters for tapwater also contain a filter to trap solid particles in the tapwater.
