And they we're unique they could keep the tadpole inside their bodies or lay eggs

Anuran children were raised in a highly nationalistic society and every Anuran had a little pond for the new born tadpole
If young tadpole didn't had a parent he was killed
But if somebody willed to adopt one he was shunned by the males for supposedly being a cuckold but females were easy on him
Young Anuran was taught by her father or mother
Anuran who had magical powers were seen as high class citizens and had political power
Anurans were mostly atheists but supposedly had cult of personality
