eh, who said culture is the same as ethnicity? i do think ethnicity plays a huge role in how your culture turns out and the idea it doesn't is frankly laughable to me. it's not all there is to it, but it's a significant role. why are you so opposed to the idea? doesn't it seem logical that culture is related to the people who spawn it and it's not just random environmental factors?
