It has some uses on /pol/ (try to write an informative post as Sweden) but is a mixed blessing. I could actually see uses for the reverse, lump the world's countries into a dozen or so groups (the USA, the British commonwealth, the EU, subsaharan Africa) and assign a novelty flag to each.
