However the things are fast changing. More and more women are watching the U.S. drama etc and accept 'my body my choice' & 'strong independent women'.
It is very annoying and unstopable at this point because China always have a inferior complex when it comes to America. (not so much about Europe). Most things from US are seen as good and advanced. Those women think they have learnt some universal truth or something and practice it like cult. You can see more and more of those women on China's social media including 微博 etc.
