I've been lurking here for a month now, and I realized that pol users either think of china as a completely hellhole based on a few webms or think china is unbelievably based.
The truth is somewhere in between.
Have you guys systematically studied china or chinese history? Have you guys been to china?I'm very curious about how much experience most pol users have interacting with china besides going to some takeout restaurant near your home every weekend.
Also, I guess this can also be an AMA. Feel free to ask me any questions related to china or chinese politics . I've traveled a lot across the country and my family is from beijing and well-off so I have a lot more insight about china and ccp than most chinese people
