Has anyone read Blackwood Farm by Anne Rice. There is a little red head girl at the end of the book who is dying in hospital, and the doctor's can't work out what is wrong with her
she's a beautiful, dear little thing and lestat comes along, bites her and drains her blood, makes her drink his immensely powerful blood (he drank from the mother and father vampire in Blood and Gold "Those who must be kept"- they lived in a crypt outside constantinople) so yeah he's probably the strongest of all the vampires by now.
He ends up saving her life at the end of blood and gold, but i can't remember if she was in Blood Canticle, the next book, i wasn't "in the zone" when i read that one.
