Did you know that the armies Wallachia, Moldavia, and Transylvania (which are nowadays all part of Romania) all supported the Muslim Ottoman Empire in the failed invasion of Vienna of 1683? It seems like all that Christian devoutness was for nothing when it actually came to defending fellow Christian kingdoms.
