The only ones who need to be on /bant/ are Brits. I know you're all newfags but if you have been on /int/ for the past 5 years like me you would know /bant/ is simply a containment board for all the British posters that used to clog /int/ like flies.
They created these terrible generals ok, which is awful enough but it wasn't just one it was probably three or four up at a time as all the British posters waved their virtual willie's at each other to fight for poster to come to there general.
They created these memes that generally involved something about cumming on each other and wanting to have sex with your mom.
This would be fine if they just kept this autism to themselves but they started to spread these horrible memes elsewhere to where you could not escape no matter what board you went to. Threads like /britmu/, /britlit/, /brit9k/, even a cgl /Brit/ thread popped up with less idea of discussing the board and more of continuing this utter horribleness outside of /int/ with the same memes and internal drama that they would spread to other non related threads. They rationalized all this autism by calling it banter to anyone who called them out on it.
In a last ditch attempt to save the board hiroyuki created a containment board called /bant/ to hopefully pull all those British posters in so they would leave other boards alone.
So please. This is a public service announcement. Stop using /bant/ if you are not British.
