That said, the Jill trilogy isn't as "tight" control wise as Mario or Sonic, which is a shame (likely due to controller v keyboard). Oddly enough, I had a conversation with my father the other day. He's in his 70s now, and I remember back in the 90s when he introduced me to one of his co-workers that was also a programmer, that was making what we'd now call a rom-hack. If my dad bought shares (was Epic even publicly traded?) into Epic instead of buying the Jill games for me, we'd be fucking rich.
It's an incredibly good trilogy, and I really wish it weren't overlooked. Everyone only cares about GoW, and, hell, even the people slightly older than the GoW generation only cares about Unreal.
