Why are the French so uptight about food? I don't mean that they have good cuisine (they eat fucking snails) but they seem to take food very seriously and will have meals that last for hours, as all as arbitrary rules for what counts as a meal. Until very recently it was actually illegal for honhons to eat lunch at their desk and they only changed that because of COVID.
