God is Godan's name. The god Godan ( God or ᚷᛟᛞ ) is the name of the chief god among many others in the polytheistic Germanic pantheon. He was called Woden by the Angles. I'm not sure what to make of the Bible, to be honest. It is a collection of writings written by various people for various purposes over a very long period of time.
Should I avoid shellfish out of superstition, or should I realize that this was a doctrine specific to people who lived in a warm water area with unsafe shellfish?
