The story of L ended, but the story of Kira didn't does 20 something more episodes to reach the conclusion, with are much better than your averege thiller anime, but worse than the first half of the show.
Its stupid to only watch an show for one character and even more stupid to drop a show in a middle of it, I don't understand people who do this, its like if you stopped reading LOR when Gandalf dies.
Its just eternall shounentard mentality of carrying more about fanservice, and cool aime gifs than a god story.
