If you want a classic, I'd go for model M, IBM if you want better quality and Unicomp if you want it brand new and customised (there is an upcoming new "mini M" from Unicomp, pretty much SSK but new)
If you want something modular and new. I personally use Keycool 84. It's pretty much a TKL, but more compact. It's hot-swap and it comes with okay-ish keycaps. I don't know what switches it comes, but I got the Gateron browns, because I wanted to try Cherry browns but didn't want to pay for them.
