I recently tried reporting a DOX thread on /b/ and was informed that I was Banned for breaking Global Rule 1 on December 1st.

I am a 4chan Pass holder so my posts are associated with my 4chan Pass.

Just testing to see if I am banned from 4chan.org as I seem to be able to post on 4channel.org without any issue.

Anyone else experienced weird stuff happening when trying to report posts on /b/?

Sometimes when I phonepost and use mobile data I get the exact same message. Weird stuff, but usually turning my data off and on again fixes it

While I'd encourage you to report more, I think you're right in saying /b/ is trash and should be stayed away from.

But like all good dumpster fires, /b/ can be pretty interesting and hard to look away from.

Hmmm, but I'm using a 4chan Pass that should bypass any IP ranges that have been blocked.

If someone is using my Pass to break Global Rule 1, I'll be pissed.

It’s not an error, usually you are a IP for the Admins but if you use your passu you stop being a IP and Start to be a pass User.

If you get banned = pass get banned
If IP get banned = pass gets not banned

I won't because moderation is too inconsistent and sometimes they ban 3 days because they feel to do it and nothing else.

The team at 4chan do their best to look through reported threads and keep everything above board.

I doubt they'd ban you for reporting something you felt broke the rules unless you were serially abusing the report function.
