Well, generally they want you to just be relatable to them. To show that you understand how they feel and that they're not alone. Then you can suggest what they should do from there. Simply taking some interest in their emotions and asking some questions tends to be enough.

It means being more straightforward and not tactful when someone comes crying to you about an issue. So just telling them literally what is wrong without taking into account that they might get offended by it. I imagine that's more your style.

Most are pretty nice if you get to know them. Even if it seems like they're doing something bad, they usually think they're doing good. Anyone can change for the better.

Group think can be a problem though. People will the same mindset gather together to bully others, and that's no good. People are only ever "truly evil" when they're in groups

Well when bakas don't say why they are feeling bad it's oftenly easy to guess if you listen to what they say. Then asking if this conclusion may be the case. I never got it wrong but I still asked to not offend if wrong. Just guessing it right makes them feel really like you understand them I guess but I don't think this counts as cheering up. The reason is clear with the girl who lost her sister. I can't say pretentious stuff like wawa I know how that feels even though I actually don't. It's just too baka

Yeah, so you basically show that you care. Which is what everyone wants. So with that girl you can write "I never experienced this, but I suppose it must be tough etc." something like that. Just being honest with them. And I often do see you adding clarifications like that in these threads, though I'm not a huge fan of using too much of that because it seems like backtracking if you do it before you get their response. It comes off as slightly dishonest.

You just want my tumtum stash! Aiste are you interested in learning how to code? It doesn't take so long to learn a standard industry language and it would probably secure a comfy at home job if you get certificates. You would also know what to do if your parents find out about not going to uni

Well, if you're actually right, there's no harm in it. If you clarify too much, it makes it seem like you care more to be right about things rather than understanding them, so it can be better to allow them to correct you if you're indeed wrong.
