They are afraid because it's pure, unfiltered Japanese internet culture, instead of a Japanese thing regurgitated by reddit or 4chan to be accessible to westerners (like the funny girl who says desu). Liking Yajuu Senpai and Manatsu no Yo no Inmu as a whole requires a genuine interest in Japanese culture instead of just 4chan culture, something that most of western weebs just lack. This is why Yajuu Senpai will always be superior.
