>>12415867>How do I find jobs oldfagsI'm 31 and I can only tell you what's worked for me and idk what the fuck the situation in Romania is like... but if I was going to give advice...
Find yourself a medium sized business, something with around 1,500-2000 people and avoid big names like Exxon or Walmart or Amazon or whatever. You'll just be a nameless robot. If you can find a medium sized business, you will have the opportunities to brush shoulders with people that can make a difference if you put in the time and work. I know this sounds like boomer tier advice, but it's worked for me. You can also job hop and chase a buck, but if you find a medium sized business with a culture that works for you, you won't want to leave anyway.
I push the company's size because if you get too big like Amazon it gets cutthroat and political, if you get into a medium sized business the upward mobility tends to be better and the CEO will pick up the phone when you call, even if you're just a foot soldier. How many warehouse employees can call Jeff Bezos? 0. I've spoken to my CFO, my CEO, and they respond to emails and know my name. That's what you want. Stick your neck out, take calculated risks, and provide value. Go to your CEO with ideas how to save the company money, how to improve efficiency, how to hone your own skills, ask people for advice, show up on time 5 days a week. Be dependable.
Sounds like boomer advice but it truly has worked for me. I didn't graduate from high school, never went to college, don't have any certifications and I make $26/hr. I have freedom to work from home if I want, but I go in anyway. I'm not balling, but I think I'm doing okay. If anyone has any questions I'll lurk for the next 15-30.
