The recap episode was unplanned some of the last few episodes had scenes outsourced to even no-name freelance Western animators and shit (the credits literally have peoples' twitter usernames)
WEP has all the makings of a disaster if we're just looking at the production alone but it doesn't really reflect in the show at all.
Final episode might be garbage though, probably had to remake the entire thing at the last second because of the recap.
